Applications And Claims

The SALAG LEADER programme is now almost halfway through its delivery phase.  The funding is allocated to different priorities in our local development strategy South Aberdeenshire Local Development Strategy.  Below you will find a table that outlines our current financial position, hopefully this will help you make a decision if your project will fit with our current active priorities.

To be eligible for support from the LEADER programme, your project must contribute to one or more of the activities and targets set out in the South Aberdeenshire Local Development Strategy.

The first stage in the application process is to submit an expression of interest form through the Scottish Rural Network page:

Once your form has been received, you will be contacted by the South Aberdeenshire Co-ordinator, who will let you know whether your project is eligible to progress to application stage.

Formal applications are submitted through the Scottish Government LARCs online system.

Project Claims

Please note we can not provide grant support to any costs incurred in drawn together your proposal.  If your proposal is approved, payments are made in arrears after expenditure has been incurred and milestones achieved.  Claims are made through the LARCs system.
